San Francisco, Reimagined
The homeowners of this project, also past Clients of Wade Design, tasked the team with bringing greater visual balance to their contemporary San Francisco home – softening its colder edges and reshaping it into a calmer, more welcoming setting for everyday family life and effortless entertaining. Set on a compact urban lot, the solution centered on refined openness, improving connections and flow while preserving comfort, privacy, and the feeling of distinct “rooms” within a modern plan. A renewed front façade establishes a composed street presence, and inside the home is reworked across five levels to feel clear, intuitive, and effortlessly livable. Outdoors, the rear garden becomes a private, minimal serene escape, anchored by an outdoor kitchen and a glass-fronted gym that blurs the boundary between inside and out.

We had an excellent experience on what started as a cosmetic remodel but grew to include much more. The team handled it all with creative problem-solving, finding smart solutions for tricky challenges around our home's existing structure. This was our second project with the Wade Design team and the Interior Designer, and everything just clicks – they genuinely get our vision and taste and bring it to life beautifully. Above all, they're amazing listeners – anyone who hires them is in good hands.
