Redwood Wonder
Nestled in a serene redwood grove with sweeping views of Dry Creek Valley, this weekend getaway draws inspiration from the traditional family lodge. Perched on a narrow ridge and surrounded by forest on all sides, the master plan was shaped by both creativity and sensitivity to the land. Flat areas were preserved for outdoor recreation, while the home itself was cleverly situated in the sloping terrain. The design takes cues from the scale of the surrounding redwoods, with soaring windows that blur the line between indoors and out, welcoming nature into every room. The home is composed of two main wings - one devoted to activity, the other to rest. The entertaining spaces, including a generous great room and an open kitchen with seamless access to the pool, are thoughtfully separated from the sleeping quarters by a long, light-filled corridor. This spectacular wine country residence blends grand scale with relaxed elegance, effortlessly inviting and endlessly inspiring.

We love that everything looks beautiful while being so comfortable and inviting. We often hear this from guests as well - that they’ve never been in a kid-friendly house that’s also so beautiful.

We appreciate the balance between pragmatism and aesthetics, and the team was always thoughtful about how we would use the space. The design work was consistently excellent. We noticed this 'magic' where they would spend some more time thinking about a space and make it infinitely better.
