Dry Creek Retreat

Nestled above Dry Creek’s idyllic vineyards on the outskirts of Healdsburg, this 4,000 square foot home is the ultimate family weekend retreat. The new owners enlisted Wade Design to open the home’s dark, closed off floor plan and fully connect the living space to its serene backdrop. While every inch of the residence was transformed, the team prioritized a reinvented entry sequence, combined the main social spaces, and created a seamless flow from indoor to outdoor living.  The installation of large, steel doors and windows throughout dramatically take in the vineyard views, new pool and backyard oasis. The new designs also doubled the kitchen size and relocated the main staircase to allow for a second-floor loft and vaulted wood-beam ceilings. While elegantly arranged, this retreat's airy, relaxed ambiance is a welcome haven to gather and unwind.
